Gold Medal awarded to Dr Raman Uberoi

We are delighted that the British Society of Interventional Radiology has awarded the BSIR Gold Medal for 2023 to Dr Raman Uberoi for his 'outstanding contribution to the work of both the Society and Interventional Radiology'.
The Medal will be presented to Dr Uberoi by Dr Phil Haslam, BSIR President, at the BSIR Annual Scientific Meeting on Thursday 9 November in Cardiff, Wales.
In a letter to Dr Uberoi informing him of his Gold Medal, Dr Haslam said:
"I am personally delighted that the Society has chosen to recognise your drive, enthusiasm and the tremendous work you have done in developing our sub specialty."
Dr Uberoi has also been asked to deliver the Andreas Grüntzig Lecture at the annual CIRSE Congress in Copenhagen in September - a great honour.
Congratulations from everyone at Oxford University Hospitals to Dr Uberoi for these great achievements, which will also help draw attention to the valuable work of interventional radiologists in our Trust and throughout the country.
