Jane Martin

We were delighted to celebrate the excellence of Jane Martin, a Surgical Discharge Navigator Nurse based at the John Radcliffe Hospital’s Surgical Emergency Unit, who has received a DAISY Award.

Nominated by a colleague, Jane was celebrated for her outstanding care, particularly when she went "above and beyond" to support the end of life care for an elderly couple.

Sam Foster, our Chief Nursing Officer, and Eileen Walsh, our Chief Assurance Officer, joined colleagues to surprise Jane with the award.

The nomination read: "Thank you so much, Jane, for all you do and the difference you make to patients and their families as well as the team you work with who appreciate you so much."
