Erwin Vitug is a Staff Nurse on Ward 5A at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
Erwin's nomination was written by the daughter of a patient who was under the Care of Erwin on Ward 5A.
The nomination read:
"My mother spent the last week of her life on ward 5A and the care given by the ward was beyond imagination. Erwin was on night duty for many of the long nights I was with my mum. He was so incredibly kind, caring and gentle.
"He was discreet yet ever present. He had a peaceful and calm aura which made me feel calm even though my heart was breaking. My family and I thank him from the bottom of our hearts for the amazing job he does."
Congratulations Erwin, on receiving this very moving nomination.
