Angela Downer is a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Oxford Children's Hospital.
Her nominator, Faith, said:
"I have known Angela for over 16 years, and I think this award is the perfect way to say a massive thank you for all her hard work, caring and compassion.
"Angela has not only supported me through my complex diagnosis, but has also supported my family, especially my parents, when dealing with my complex care needs...encouraged me to be as independent as possible...always create a way for me to smile.
"Angela always communicated her specialist knowledge and skills in an understandable, clear and concise way.
"The DAISY Award is an amazing tribute to say thank you to Angela and to celebrate her skills."
