As an honorary contract holder, you are bound by the terms and conditions of the honorary contract. All honorary contracts are department-specific and are fixed term for a maximum of three years.

An observer contract holder is someone who is not employed and paid by the Trust. An observer contract allows an individual to observe processes and practices at the Trust.

Applying for an honorary or observer contract

You can apply for an honorary or observer contract through the OUH intranet (available to staff only). Departments have copies of the application forms available and will be able to advise on the right contract for you.
