Oxford University Hospitals offers a range of apprenticeships in healthcare and business support services, comprising:

  • apprenticeship standard of knowledge, skills, and behaviours
  • recognised competency-based qualifications at Level 2 or 3 in your chosen subject
  • a learning programme tailored to you
  • literacy, numeracy and, for some apprenticeship standards, ICT qualifications
  • in-house induction and work-specific mandatory training.

The apprenticeship programme consists of both theory and practical application in the workplace, therefore most of your learning is assessed 'on the job' in your ward or department.

OUH apprenticeship programmes offer a fixed-term contract with training and assessment provided either internally or by local established training providers.

A work-based Supervisor, a Manager and the Apprenticeship Team will support you throughout your apprenticeship.

We're looking for enthusiastic and committed people who want to be part of our team.
