The Global MBA... brings together all my practical experiences. You don't just learn from the tutor or lecturers, there is vast knowledge to be gained from other students from across the world, who bring rich and varied expertise.

As an Apprentice I was getting a wage alongside a BTEC qualification - the best of both worlds. My communication and team working skills were hugely improved; I also learned how to meet deadlines.

It has enabled me to learn whilst working in a job I love, gaining valuable patient-facing experience both in my role as a Nursing Associate and as a Student Nurse... I have been able to progress to a Band 5 Critical Care Nurse role.

Apprentices have become integral, versatile members of the Radiology team. I work inter-professionally with numerous different departments and professionals... and gain new knowledge and skills.

An Apprenticeship is a good way of learning and still getting a monthly income; you learn on the job and gain skills and qualifications that can lead to job opportunities. The top tip for being an apprentice is to ask lots of questions and not be afraid to.

I've gained valuable experience… I bring new information and techniques with a fresh perspective to the department. The experience you gain whilst learning and practising in a protected environment is invaluable.

I embarked on my apprenticeship journey eager to learn something new... and I have acquired valuable skills that have directly benefited the department.

Despite considering myself already proficient in IT, the apprenticeship challenged me to explore new areas; and balancing work responsibilities with the apprenticeship taught me how to prioritise tasks effectively.

The work-based project I undertook, to design and implement new patient satisfaction questionnaires, has enabled us to streamline processes and improve overall patient experience on the Cardiac Rehabilitation Programme.

My apprenticeship experience has been transformative for me, equipping me with new practical and project management skills, as well as learning about the day-to-day operational side of the Trust.
