Horton General Hospital
The Physiotherapy Team is based over two sites; the Horton General Hospital in Banbury and Brackley Health Centre, with staff working across both sites.
On both sites we provide treatment for:
- adult musculoskeletal patients referred by GPs in South Northamptonshire and South Warwickshire
- Trauma and Orthopaedic, Emergency Department and Rheumatology referrals from North Oxfordshire and surrounding counties.
We believe in shared decision-making with agreed goals. This ensures that each patient is treated as an individual and that their needs are identified and met where possible.
An emphasis is placed on increasing the patient's self-efficacy and educating them on how to self-manage their pain, dysfunction or disability.
Our skills include the following.
- Manual therapy
- Soft tissue release
- Pain management and pacing advice
