  • Gain or amplification of MYC FISH (M147.5)
  • i(17q) / del(17p) FISH can also be performed if considered clinically relevant. This test may not be included in the TD for the disease entity, in which case the test will be invoiced separately. Please contact us to discuss further.

It may be clinically relevant to undertake these studies when there is a differential diagnosis of another tumour type and the results will aid patient management.

Midline Carcinoma - Paediatric (M151)

NUTM1 rearrangement FISH (M151.1); undertaken using a NUTM1 breakapart probe only, therefore partner gene is not identifiable

Oligodendroglioma - Paediatric (M156) and other disease entities

1p & 19q codeletion FISH (M156.5)
