Gastroenterology doctors specialise in the investigation and treatment of conditions such as:

The unit has a reputation for the clinical care / management of:

- coeliac disease
- irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
- nutritional support and intestinal failure
- cancer
- autoimmune liver disease
- viral hepatitis.
Gastroenterology works closely with Endoscopy.
