Matt's research interest is in clinical and cost effectiveness of musculoskeletal interventions and he is Chief Investigator for a series of randomised trials supported by grants from the UK National Institute of Health Research and musculoskeletal charities.
His work has been cited widely, and informs many guidelines from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence.

Dan is a Consultant Children's Orthopaedic Surgeon at Alder Hey Children's hospital. His research focus is on epidemiology and effective treatments and he is Chief Investigator and co-applicant on many NIHR grants.
Associate Professor and Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
Steve has a specific interest in optimising treatments for the arm and shoulder, and holds a number of multicentre grants from the National Institute of Health Research.
Research Manager
Juul has extensive knowledge of trial application processes and trial management. Her research interests include exercise metabolism and musculoskeletal interventions. Juul oversees a wide range of studies involving patients with traumatic injuries.
University Research Lecturer
The clinical focus of David's research is on improving the management of musculoskeletal disorders and injuries. His main research interests are clinical trials, gait analysis, systematic reviews and meta-analysis.
He is an investigator on several multi-centre studies funded by the National Institute for Health Research.
Senior Research Fellow Research areas include core concepts such as comfort, participation, hope and compassion, specialising in groups such as older people and people suffering acute traumatic injury.
In addition staff perspectives within the context of care have been explored and a range of methodology utilised, mixed methods, ethnography and action research.

Kathryn has extensive clinical leadership and experience in trauma in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She is involved in the management of clinical trials and a range of clinical research studies.
Maria has seven years of clinical experience in medicine, mental health and trauma. She has held a senior nurse post on the Trauma Unit. Maria assists in the co-ordination of clinical trials and a range of research studies.
Kathryn is an experienced research nurse with clinical experience in a range of specialities. She co-ordinates clinical trials and a range of research studies.
