Also known as: SCID Panel
Extended T cell phenotyping may help in the diagnosis of Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID) and compliments a basic lymphocyte subset analysis. This panel looks at memory T cells and proteins that if deficient in cause SCID.
Specimen requirements
1 mL EDTA blood must be received in the Immunology Laboratory within 24 hours of venepuncture. Samples must NOT have been refrigerated or centrifuged and must arrive before 4pm on Fridays.
