Dipeptidyl-Peptidase–Like Protein-6 (DPPX) is a subunit of the KV2 potassium channel.
Antibodies to this protein have been shown in patients with an encephalitis picture plus severe diarrhoea and weight loss that can precede the encephalitis.
This antibody can be found in both adult and childhood onset encephalitis.
