We have strong links with the other services at the hospital, such as the Bone Infection Unit. As a result we have accumulated considerable experience in the treatment of infected joint replacements.
Similarly, in collaboration with the Rheumatology Service, we treat patients with other inflammatory arthropathies such as:
- rheumatoid arthritis
- psoriatic arthritis
- ankylosing spondylitis.
We also treat the orthopaedic manifestations of diseases, like sickle cell and haemophilia, when they affect the hip and knee.
