Ocular Oncologist
Dr Theodora Gkika MD FEBO
Consultant Ophthalmologist, Oxford Eye Hospital
Theodora Gkika works as an Ophthalmologist at the Oxford Eye Hospital and has a special interest in ocular oncology, uveitis and medical retina.
She qualified from the University of Athens in Greece, and undertook her specialist training at the University Clinic of Essen in Germany. She gained an MD in ocular oncology and radiation biology from the University of Essen. She is fellowship trained at Kings College Hospital in London in medical retina; at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmigham in uveitis and medical retina; and at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London in uveitis, medical retina and ocular oncology.
She is a Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBO) and a member of the Ophthalmic Oncology Group as well as the International Society of Ocular Oncology.
She is a medical appraiser at Oxford University Hospitals.
