Flexible Working Champion
Dr Laura Oakley works as a Consultant Anaesthetist at OUH and has over a decade of experience in both training less than full time and flexible consultant working.
During this time she has gained a wealth of experience representing less than full time doctors in various roles, including the deanery LTFT trainee representative to CopMED, LTFT representative for both her school and deanery and chair of the HEETV Trainee Advisory Committee.
She also has an interest in supported return to training, running this programme for the School of Anaesthesia.
Current active LTFT projects include departmental presentations and development of resources on how to self-roster.
