The services we offer include:
- regional cystic fibrosis centre
- sleep service (home study and inpatient work)
- non-invasive respiratory support service (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) and Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure (BiPAP))
- care of children with tracheostomies
- management of empyema (a collection of pus in the pleural cavity) of the lung and other respiratory infections
- management of asthma
- management of other respiratory illnesses
- investigation of respiratory problems
Outreach clinics are provided at:
- High Wycombe
- Milton Keynes
- Wexham Park
- Reading
- Northampton
We also participate in a quarterly joint cleft palate clinic and a quarterly transitional clinic with the adult cystic fibrosis services based at the Churchill Hospital.
