Specimen / container requirements
Collect at least 10ml from the second void of the day into a clearly labelled sterile universal container.
Indicate if the patient has:
- been catheterised
- had recent urinary instrumentation
- had chemotherapy
- had local radiotherapy.
Failure to do so may result in a false positive diagnosis.
