We see patients with Marfan syndrome, Loeys-Dietz syndrome and Familial Thoracic Aortic Dissection syndrome, who are registered with a GP in Oxfordshire (and most adjacent counties) in our Monday morning Specialist Aortic Clinic at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
We offer multidisciplinary care in diagnosis, monitoring and treatment.
Our team includes cardiac, genetic and musculoskeletal specialists, as well as optometry for diagnostics.
We have links to adjacent services, including Complex Thoracic Aortic Surgery, Maternal Medicine and diagnostic services including Clinical Genetics and Radiology.
Referrals from GPs in the region are welcome and should be directed to Clinical Genetics in the first instance.
