Welcome to the Bone Infection Unit
The Bone Infection Unit is a specialist unit dedicated to the investigation and treatment of patients with all aspects of bone or joint infection.
Patients treated in our 26-bed ward include those with chronic foot ulceration, infected joint replacements, spine infections and post-traumatic long bone infections. Treatment typically involves surgery, directed antibiotic therapy and rehabilitation planning.

A strict appointment system operates and referrals are prioritised on clinical need based on the information supplied by the referring medical practitioner.
