We are committed to driving sustainable development across our Trust, enabling us to deliver high quality care while making the best use of our resources.
We aim to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2040 - in line with NHS England's carbon neutral target - and we are looking forward to implementing our plans so we can:
- reduce our carbon footprint
- minimise waste
- provide sustainable healthcare to secure better health for future generations.
Thank you to the hundreds of members of Oxford University Hospitals staff who took part in our 2021 Sustainability Survey, focus groups and virtual listening events.
Their valuable feedback helped shape the Oxford University Hospitals 'Green Plan', which sets out our priority areas for action.
